All proceeds received from the 11th Annual Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk directly support the Coastal Bend Food Bank Kids Backpack Program. that ensures participating school-aged children receive meals over the weekend when school is not in session.
Last year, over 300 runners and walkers participated allowing the Coastal Bend Food Bank to distribute over 10,000 backpacks providing children over 55,000 backpack meals with the proceeds.
The deadline for sponsorship is Friday, October 30, 2020.
