REGISTER TO RUN
Due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, we’ve decided to take the Coastal Bend Food Bank 11th Annual Miles for Meals 5k Run/Walk VIRTUAL! What does that mean for you? Well, now you can run from anywhere in the county and still support the Coastal Bend Food Bank! The event begins on October 26, 2020, and runs through November 6, 2020.
Between October 26th through November 6th, the 5K Run/Walk times can be entered into the virtual race platform site.
What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is an easy and flexible race alternative that allows runners/walkers to participate from anywhere in the world. Participants can choose their own course or choose to follow the recommended one below. Runners can run competitively, take a leisure stroll through the scenic areas in the Coastal Bend community, or even from a treadmill.
When do I have to complete the race?
The benefit of a virtual race is that YOU pick your time, date, and location. Participants for the Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk will be able to complete the race anytime between October 26th – November 6th, 2020.
What is the cost?
19 years & up: Only $25! (Includes Goodie Bag & Miles for Meals Shirt)
5 years to 18 years: $15! (Includes Goodie Bag & Miles for Meals Shirt)
All registered participants will be entered into a drawing to win 2 prizes
Must be registered by November 6, 2020, to receive a Goodie Bag & Miles for Meals Shirt
Packet Pick-Up?
Result notifications will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 11:00, am – 3:00 pm, at First Baptist Church located at 3115 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas.
