Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
It was a day full of service as many came together to volunteer and celebrate the life and legacy of Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We were pleased to have so many families, groups, and individuals volunteer on their day off helping to sort, inspect, and pack kid’s backpacks, frozen meats, and fresh produce to be distributed out into our 11 county service area. Thank you to everyone who made it “A Day On, Not A Day Off” by helping to make a difference in the lives of others.
“Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
