The Coastal Bend Day of Giving brings the Coastal Bend area together as one community to inspire, bring awareness, and raise money for local nonprofits like the Coastal Bend Food Bank with 24 hours of online giving.
Your support will help to continue feeding families in the 11 county service area and funding programs to serve children, seniors, individuals, and families in the Coastal Bend. In 2020 the need for food assistance increased due to the economic effect of the COVID-19 pandemic in our community. Your support will allow us to continue serving the needs of our most vulnerable during this most unprecedented time in our country.
On November 10, 2020, thousands of area residents are going to show their support for their favorite local nonprofit during the Coastal Bend Day of Giving. On that day, every donation and donor we get will go further to help the Coastal Bend Food Bank claim our share of 1.1 million in matching dollars to further our mission of reducing hunger in South Texas through food distribution and nutrition education. The amount donated will be matched and doubled, up to $22,000, raising at least $44,000 in just 24 hours.
