Something extraordinary is coming to the Coastal Bend
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Coastal Bend Food Bank and Presenting Sponsor Valero will bring the community together at Whataburger Field for The Chosen Interfaith Celebration, a free community event featuring cast members from the highly acclaimed television series The Chosen for an afternoon of inspiration, community, and service.
Doors open at 10:00 a.m., with the event taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Admission is free, and while food donations are not required, non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated to help fill the shelves of local food pantries and provide meals to Coastal Bend neighbors facing hunger. Food collection barrels will be available at the event.
