2018 Healthy Over Hungry® Cereal Drive: May 25 – June 01 2018

Did you know that 13 million children in our country struggle to get the food they need to be healthy? That is why Surgicare of Corpus Christi and Corpus Christi Out Patient Surgery Center is participating in Tenet’s Healthy Over Hungry® Cereal Drive, June 1-8.
Three out of four public school teachers say that students come to school hungry. During the summer, when children can no longer rely on their schools for nutritious meals, the need becomes even more critical. We invite you to join us in our Healthy Over Hungry® Cereal Drive, benefiting Coastal Bend Food Bank because we know that good nutrition is essential to good health.
There are two ways to donate:
- Drop off your healthy cereal donations
- Make an online donation that will be used to purchase food, such as milk, fruit and lean protein, needed to complete a healthy breakfast. And to highlight our commitment to good nutrition and a healthy breakfast, Surgicare of Corpus Christi and Corpus Christi Out Patient Surgery Center’s parent company, Tenet Healthcare, will match all financial donations made during the campaign, up to $100,000.
