During the month of September local Subway restaurants partnered with Feeding America and local member food banks like the Coastal Bend Food Bank to help fight hunger,  during Hunger Action Month. Through this “Feeding the Need” initiative, when Subway guests purchased a meal, their purchase helped feed people in their community.

On Friday, December 6, 2019, local Subway franchisees presented the Coastal Bend Food Bank with a donation check for $4,900. Corpus Christi area Subway restaurants were able to provide 50,000 meals to local Feeding America food banks, like the Coastal Bend Food Bank.

Across the country, Subway’s Hunger Action Month campaign helped provide nearly 5 million meals to communities across the country.
